Santa App [Secret Santa]

Problem

Secret Santa becomes fragile when couples, custom restrictions, previous matches and wishlists are spread across multiple channels.

Decision

I modeled rules as concrete transactional exclusions to keep the domain explicit and simplify how the draw is executed.

Challenge

Keeping participants, rules and multi-year history consistent when an event's membership changes.

Result

The draw respects couples, exclusions and previous years' history, and every participant gets their match and the wishlists in a single flow.
